EBRD BAS Program for Armenia, Square One Ltd – Introduction of Balanced Scorecards Strategic Management, 2009

Within the project strategic management consultancy for the company was done. After deep diagnosis of the company’s goals, strategic plans, business operations as well as organizational structure we have rethought of the company’s strategy and draw business processes accordingly. Based on performed analysis Balanced Scorecards system was developed for the firm and appropriate software was elaborated. This was one of first strategy management projects in Armenia.

EBRD BAS Program for Armenia, ArmProject CJSC – Diagnostic Audit and Management Efficiency Enhancement, 2008

We have prepared complex management consulting assignment in almost all departments of the organization. Difficult tasks of regulating of process flows and setting up KPI’s in an architectural and design firm were performed. We have substantially strengthened capacities of marketing department as well as introduced updated motivation and remuneration scheme. Long term goals and targets of the company were revised as well.    

EBRD BAS Program in Armenia, Dalarik Ltd. – Tomato paste production and exportation, 2008

Being a regional producer of crispy bread grains, potato chips, dried fruit and vegetable and marinades Dalarik Ltd. intended to apply for development loan aiming at expansion into tomato paste production and export to overseas (mainly CIS) countries. Thus VGM Partners carried out an in-deep feasibility study that comprised of market survey and financial analysis. Using the experience of established Armenian tomato producers as well as overseas competitors occupying the same subsector we developed financial plan for the next 3-5 years which have been based on market analysis and proposed export marketing plan. The company is now exporting its production to two known distribution chances in Moscow as well as got high penetration of its brand in the Moscow market.

At the 1st Phase very intimate and close work was undertaken together with NA Soft in order to comply company profile. In this stage was also conducted market analysis in order to find out main trends of Global outsourcing market and draw opportunities for NA Soft. During the 2nd Phase base upon the market analysis huge emphasis putted on promotion strategy development and on complying a list of potential partners for NA Soft. As a result the company now has several big contracts from Silicon Valley, San Francisco, USA.

VGM Partners helped the client, Sima Tours, to develop a good marketing strategy to help them expand their customer base in two European markets of Germany and Italy.VGM Partners also helped the client to develop and test a well-designed marketing communications plan.

ITC’s main goal was to find potential investors or strategic partners who would help the company expand its market share and customer base by enlarging Engineering and Intellectual Property departments and fully realizing their potentials. We helped the company to prepare a business plan and a presentation for the ArmTech Investment Road show in San Francisco, CA, USA.

Within the framework of the contract company’s promotion and branding policy was elaborated. NATK Ltd specialized in development of e-payment and other e-commerce solutions. Company aimed to expand product development as well as finished product export activities. For the implementation of stated goals we have implemented thought market analysis of the selected countries, elaborated strategies for the market penetration as well as prepared presentation materials.

VGM Partners helped the client, ELITAR, to work up a product appropriate to Scandinavian market and also a well-designed promotion plan, with clear steps, which included the list of main marketing activities, which should be realized for the promotion of ELITAR and which enabled company to penetrate into Scandinavian market.

EBRD BAS Program in Armenia, Khachatrian ZAK Ltd. – Marketing plan on production of fruit purees and jams, 2006

This company initiated a large investment plan for production of fruit purees and jams targeting both local and overseas markets. For that purpose they approached VGM Partners to develop a comprehensive marketing and financial plan. The selected team of consultants conducted a market survey using primary (local market) and secondary data (local and export markets). It was recommended to employ well-thought positioning for to-be-produced products putting special emphasis on unique flavor characteristics as well as product diversification (various types and packaging).

EBRD/BAS Program in Armenia, Progal Ltd. – Investment plan on natural stone quarrying and manufacturing of slabs and other construction items, 2006

This project included several components: natural stone (travertine) quarrying, stone processing and manufacturing of various construction items and marketing in local and mainly export markets. It was proposed to acquire a commercial loan whereas the marketing side of the project had to be fulfilled mainly through exporting of goods. Installation of a up-to-date stone technology would allow to greatly decrease production cost yet to offer to company’s prospects a wide range of products that will fit different construction projects by volume and design. The use of more effective machinery also allowed diminishing transportation cost per item.

EBRD/BAS Program in Armenia, LER EKS Ltd - Ankasar molybdenum-copper deposit exploration and exploitation project, 2004  The feasibility study consisted of two parts, which could be determined as different studies themselves: exploration of the mine and the mine operation installation and extraction. This meant that the report of exploration was an asset itself and considered as a guarantee for financing of the project further implementation. We have addressed geological and technological/engineering parts of the project as well.
